The 1st Signal Brigade is a communications formation of the British Army whose role is to provide the infrastructure and communications for the deployable elements of Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (HQ ARRC). The Brigade Headquarters is co-located with HQ ARRC at Gloucester, with 22 Signal Regiment at Stafford and 16 Signal Regiment in Germany currently scheduled to move to Stafford in 2015.

The Brigade Headquarters is co-located with HQ ARRC at Gloucester, with 22 Signal Regiment at Stafford and 16 Signal Regiment in Germany currently scheduled to move to Stafford in 2015. Until 2012 1st Signal Brigade consisted of four major units: 7 Signal Regiment, 16 Signal Regiment, 22 Signal Regiment and Support Battalion HQ ARRC. The Brigade also commanded 12 Signal Group, a Territorial Army formation composed of 33 Signal Regiment (V), 34 Signal Regiment (V) and 35 Signal Regiment (V).
