| - John Sheridan is one of the Main Protagonists of the Babylon 5 franchise. He was the second Commander of the Earth Alliance space station, Babylon 5 and was once President of a vast organization known as the Intersellar Alliance, one that held together for a million years after it's inception. He's the husband of Delenn.
- John Sheridan was Jeffrey Sinclair's replacement as Commander of Babylon 5. Under his leadership, Babylon 5 seceded from the Earth Alliance, the second Shadow war was resolved, and President Morgan Clark was overthrown, after which Sheridan became the first President of the Interstellar Alliance. He eventually married Minbari ambassador Delenn and they had a son, David Sheridan II.
- John Sheridan (Born September 18, 1954, in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is a retired American hockey center. Sheridan played for the University of Minnesota. He was chosen 96th overall by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft and 92nd overall by the Indianapolis Racers in the 1974 WHA Amateur Draft. Sheridan went on to play 69 games in the World Hockey Association with the Racers in 1974-75 and 1975-76. He scored 18 goals and 13 assists. He retired in 1982.
- John Sheridan (born January 20, 1946) is an American jazz pianist and arranger born in Columbus, Ohio, perhaps best known for his work with the Jim Cullum Jazz Band.
