USS Lamson (DD–18) was a Smith class destroyer in the United States Navy during World War I. She was the first ship named for Roswell Lamson. Lamson was laid down on 18 March 1908 by William Cramp & Sons, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, launched on 16 June 1909, sponsored by Mrs. Henry S. Grove, and commissioned on 10 February 1910, Lieutenant Commander J. M. Ludy in command.
