At least one sleeper pod survived until the time of the New Republic: one of several ships and vehicles placed by Palpatine within the Mount Tantiss storehouse, it was placed within a display hangar deep inside the mountain, one of the few areas to survive the destruction of the base in 9 ABY, and it was recovered intact by the New Republic xenoarchaeology team led by Garv Debble.
