- The Hudson River is a river in New York.
- The Hudson River is a body of water that stretches from New York City proper to Lake Champlain, Vermont. It derives its name from the English explorer Henry Hudson, who sailed up the waterway in 1609 while in search of a passage to China.
- The Hudson River is a 315-mile (507 km) river that runs through the eastern portion of New York State and, along its southern terminus, demarcates the border between the states of New York and New Jersey. It is named for Henry Hudson, an Englishman who explored it in 1609.
- The Hudson River is a stream which drains a portion of New York with a mouth at New York City. Its lower reaches have been contaminated by industrial pollution. From approximately 1947 to 1977, the General Electric Company (GE) discharged as much as 1.3 million pounds of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) from its capacitor manufacturing plants at the Hudson Falls and Fort Edward facilities into the Hudson River. In 2009 dredging began to remove contaminated riverbed material.
