- In Final Fantasy XII, the Research Notes are a series of notes that appear in eight monster entries in the Bestiary of the Clan Primer.
- Research Notes is an item in all Geneforge games. In storyline canon, they are notes made by Shapers while they research the creation of new creatures. In gameplay, they are stackable items that in certain games can be given to certain NPCs who will buy them.
- Research Notes are a type of research item in The Last Stand: Dead Zone.
- This item is provided for File:Horde 15.png [9] Research Notesω τ ϖ.
- There are six total Research Notes Documents in the game.
- The Research Notes are Notes Dr. Barnaby made when he was studying the Ampulex Compressa Giganteus in Santa Cabezza. These notes form the backstory to Dead Rising. They aren't found in the game itself, because Capcom released them after the game was out in stores. It is unknown if these notes are canon.

- Rain. With the monastery renovation completed, I have finally moved in with Ogden and Bessy. It's been a long road since I first procured the Émigré File. Even after referencing literature of all ages, the rendering of the text still remains a difficult task. Though it has been four years since I first laid eyes on it, never once has its enigma left the recesses of my mind. Branded a forbidden enterprise, it was kept hidden by the Vatican's cardinals in the depths of the Pope's quarters for a very long time. And now, I have it in my hands. I have reached Wales, the land referred to in the text.
- If only Umani [sic] [Do not change this to Umana. This misspelled word is how it appears in-game.] would have left one of these Dwarven machine creatures intact for me to study. The fact that they almost killed those Khajiit brothers in the middle of the night doesn't mean we couldn't have found a way to disable one. We dragged some stuff in front of the pipes they came out of to stop them from coming back.
