T'Kar travelled with Verad, Yeto and Mareel aboard the Ekina to Deep Space 9, where his Trill employer wanted to remove the Dax symbiont from Jadzia Dax. He was opposed to the Klingon Empire's alliance with the Federation, stating that the Empire was ruled by "doddering fools and frightened old women". T'Kar kann von Odo überwältigt werden. Der Klingone hasst die Föderation und er hält die Regierung der Klingonen für schwach, da sie ein Bündnis mit der Föderation eingehen.
