| - Emjedah is a city located in northeast Aradath near the eastern edges of The Great Divide. It was originally founded by the Frontacian Great House of Grandeur and was later settled by Taathians and Monitanians. After Grandeur's failed attempt to take control of Sorcerer's Isle, he was exiled and spent his time in Emjedah. It was at this point that the mines of Emjedah were discovered to be plentiful in almost every metal, from iron to moonsilver to drathain. It was during this period that Granduer brought slave trading to the city. Under the leadership of the Frontacians Lord Timor, General Ulric, and Archmage Ralin, Emjedah fought a long war with the city of Treehaven, ultimately resulting in the destruction by fire of the latter city.

It was during this period that Granduer brought slave trading to the city. Under the leadership of the Frontacians Lord Timor, General Ulric, and Archmage Ralin, Emjedah fought a long war with the city of Treehaven, ultimately resulting in the destruction by fire of the latter city. After the war with Treehaven, Lord Granduer managed to amass enough wealth from the Emjedahan mines to buy his way back into Sorcerer's Isle. It was after Timor's departure that the city tried to reassert itself as the "City of Magick." Several forms of government came about through this process, the last being a ministry led by the Frontacian Kreston Luminess. This Ministry was brought to an end when the Dark Armies of the Muatana-al Graedar'al seized the city. After the death of Graedar'al, Emjedah was liberated, but attempts to rebuild have been sporadic, hindered by the rivalry between Frontacians and Taathians.
