  • Krug is a regular enemy encountered on Rojuna's Cliff. It is a stronger version of Motorball, and infact shares the same graphic. It always appears accompanied by Whirling Blades and unlike the blades, it is reasonably vulnerable to direct attacks (not as much as the Motorball), but very resistant to magic - in fact, it will absorb magic damage from Earth, Water, Fire, Thunder and Wind elements. Attacks marked with an '*' are never used even though Krug possesses them; they appear in the menu when using Lulu's 'Possess' command on Krug.
  • Bred to battle, Krug was recruited to serve in Utgar's front line. His sheer size and foul disposition make him a formidable opponent but it is his thirst for blood that makes him the legend he is. Stomping across the battlefield, Krug will decimate anything in his path.

  • Bred to battle, Krug was recruited to serve in Utgar's front line. His sheer size and foul disposition make him a formidable opponent but it is his thirst for blood that makes him the legend he is. Stomping across the battlefield, Krug will decimate anything in his path. Krug knows no defeat. When wounded, he battles more fiercely. He has sworn his allegiance to Utgar and will give his life if necessary. He is feared for Skelblade, a massive weapon cast from the armor of the enemies he has taken in battle. He swings Skelblade as a true swordsman but the power behind it is unmatched by any other known warrior. Each cast of the sword deals two deadly blows as he hits with an initial swing and then again with a massive secondary backswing.

* Sooner or later, Krug will cast 'Light Curtain' on itself, which renders it completely immune to all types of magic (and, because of technical limitations, also many special skills). * Krug's normal attack, 'Slaps' hits a single target twice, each time with a chance of inflicting Stun. * 'Smog' inflicts Poison and Blind on the entire party and does damage to all characters. The damage it does is equal to the amount of magic damage Krug has absorbed throughout the battle, divided by the number of living player characters. The damage is unblockable. Because of this attack, it is greatly advised not to use All Enemies-targetting magic when fighting a troop including Krug. * Spellvour is the signature "-vour" attack Krug shares with the other enemies of its type. It is very strong, permanently removing a spell from the magic list of the target. The skill will disappear from the menu and will only be accessible again at the end of the battle. The attack also inflicts Silence. Its lesser forms are Manavour, which simply drains MP and Enchantvour, which transfers status effects from the target to the caster. Its higher form is Soulvour, which is an irrevocable instant death attack - the character can only be revived after the battle is over. * Body Attack and Rocket Launcher are never used by the AI, but can be used when possessing Krug. The former attack is partially buggy, doing physical damage, but showing the 'casting magic' animation. It inflicts Stun. The second one is a ranged attack that reduces the defense of the target. Attacks marked with an '*' are never used even though Krug possesses them; they appear in the menu when using Lulu's 'Possess' command on Krug.
  • No one in Ehb seems to remember a time when there wasn't some kind of krug presence in their lands. It is a miracle that the krug have survived for so long, and it is probably the mercy of more intelligent races that has seen them through to the modern era, as they seemingly need to be shown how to use even the crudest of tools and most basic of spells by others. Although not evil by nature, the krug have a long history of being used by nefarious plotters as easily disposable mercenary troops, bribing them with knowledge that they are too stupid to acquire on their own. This is exactly what happened during the events of Dungeon Siege, when Commander Gresh persuaded the krug to raid the farmlands around Stonebridge and the Glitterdelve.
