| - Byzantium is the eleventh episode of the seventh season of The Mentalist.
- Byzantium is a select-able nation in Europa Universalis IV at the beginning in 1444. Its government type is a Empire. It starts as suzerain over Athens.
- Die Byzantium ist ein Raumschiff des 51. Jahrhunderts. (The Time of Angels).
- Both mainlands on the map are divided by the Aegean Sea, which is loaded with small islands. Stone and gold are plenty, there are also lots of fish in the Aegean and the other seas (the Ionian Sea, the Hellespont and part of the Black Sea). Byzantium can be played similar to Archipelago, with players securing island after island to steadily exploit the resources, while also denying them from the enemy.
- Byzantium was an ancient city on Terra. It became the Imperial Seat of the First Empire in 15800 BG, when it retreated under rebellions.
- Byzantium was an ancient Greek city on the European side of the Bosporus, the strait that separates Europe from Asia. The city became the capital of the Roman Empire under Constantine I in the second decade of the fourth century. Following his death in 337, the name of the city was changed to Constantinople in his honor.
The Time of Angels/ Flesh and Stone).
- Byzantium was a temperate, terrestrial planet in the Byzantine system, part of the Tiber sector in the Mid Rim. The world orbited the star Invictus and had two orbits of its own, the moons Aeneas and Lavinia. The planet had 70% water coverage and contained various grasslands, forests, mountains, and oceans. Humans were a native species on the world, which had two known governments during its history, The Citadel and The Four Houses.
- Lewis chose Byzantium as a civilization in their third go at playing Civilization V. He founded the city of Constantinople and eventually renamed it to New Rome. Lewis went for a dragon-theme when naming the rest of his cities, naming after famous locations related to dragons.
- Byzantium, also referred to as the Capital of the Night, is the capital city of the New Human Empire—the last Methuselah nation on Earth. Historically the city was also known as Constantinople and Istanbul in ancient times. Encircled by a dome-like perimeter of sapphire walls, Byzantium is an enormous transcontinental city in Eurasia, straddling the Bosporus Channel between the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea. The city layout beyond the walled perimeter consists of vast city streets, erect domes, tall towers protruded between trees, numerous gates and elegant arches. Its appearance was widely regarded as beautiful, and its architecture reminiscent of an ancient city.
