  • Little is known about the ruler of the Castle of Olympus, or their presumed co-ruler in the Black Dragon's Castle, save that they were masters of the Lands of the Dark Unknown during the first Age of Darkness. During the Stranger's quest to defeat Mondain, the hero could consult with the lord of this keep, who would offer the adventurer a boon of strength should they quest for knowledge of the Pillar of Ozymandias. Also at this time, the imprisoned Princess Kristen could be found within this castle, and the Stranger had the option of securing her rescue—although such an undertaking put the hero on sore terms with the guards and court. It is not known what eventually befell the Castle of Olympus or its master, as the Lands of the Dark Unknown vanished shortly after the death of Mondain.
