Of all of the robots, with perhaps the exception of Dead Metal, Shunt is the most improved robot, as this version is far more accurate than in Metal Mayhem, correct even up to getting the front of Shunt the right way round, a mistake often made. This game is based around Robot Wars: The Fourth Wars, so Shunt had no major improvements from the Third Wars, the setting for Metal Mayhem, but nevertheless Shunt has been totally overhauled.

This game is based around Robot Wars: The Fourth Wars, so Shunt had no major improvements from the Third Wars, the setting for Metal Mayhem, but nevertheless Shunt has been totally overhauled. Shunt, as in Metal Mayhem does not feature in the main battle modes, but will feature if the player manages to get far enough in the Mayhem mode to come up against Shunt, and if they are victorious, they will unlock the House Robot. However, the game's programming does not allow Shunt to turn his back on an opponent in order to use his axe when controlled by CPU.
