Cecil has at some point led a workshop of sorts on the basics of the language at the library of Brigobaen, attended by Asliendor and Elefin, among others. Some rudimentary vocabulary is also preserved in a scroll that contained mostly ancient recipes, and was archived in Andris by the librarian Ambrose.

It is known that the name of the heir of Galandir, prince N'eroth, means "renewal" in Centaurian. Another expression that many will have learnt from Mernias, the Centaur residing in Mirith, is "Kashia a Mirath" , which means "may the moon shine on your days".
