Cabo Beata (English: Cape Beata) is a point of land on the south shore of the island of Hispaniola. Four kilometers offshore of the cape is Beata Island. HMS Renown passed this waypoint on the way to Jamaica after taking the Spanish installation at Scotchman's Bay and taking three privateers as prizes.
