Saif al-Islam Muammar al-Gaddafi (born June 25th 1972) is the second son of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and his second wife. He is an architect/engineer, politician, and unofficial regime spokesman, mostly during the current Libyan civil war. He was previously seen as the Western-friendly, reforming face of the regime, prior to the war. On August 22, he was reportedly captured by the Libyan rebels, but the next day, news sources report him walking freely in Tripoli. Saif has been officially captured on November 19.
