Maureen Johnson is an American author of young adult fiction, best known for her Shades of London and Suite Scarlett series, as well as her Little Blue Envelope books. Maureen is good friends with Cassandra Clare and Sarah Rees Brennan. Together, the three of them, after years of unofficially working together, collaborated on The Bane Chronicles and Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy.
