Kathleen Amelia Day (nee Rea) was an actor and Labour Party politician. The daughter of W H S Rea, she performed on stage as Kitty Collyer. In 1901 she married Harry Day (1880-1939), owner of a number of theatres. her husband went on to be Labour Party MP for Southwark Central 1924-31 and 1935-39. From 1928-31 she was a Labour Party member of the London County Council representing Southwark Central. In 1931 she stood down and her husband took the council seat.
