Martin Brody has been on the faculty of Wellesley College (Massachusetts) since 1979 and is currently the Catherine Mills Davis Professor of Music. He is an accomplished pianist, and teaches composition, electronic music and music theory. He has composed in many genres and media and his work has been commissioned by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Massachusetts Arts and Humanities Council. Professor Brody was the recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship in music composition in 2000.
