Warren Clarke plays a parody of Oliver Cromwell in The Cavalier Years. He is searching for 'royalist scum' when Balrick lets out that Blackadder is harbouring the King in the Blackadder Hall. The king is then sent to the Tower of London to be executed.

  • Oliver Cromwell (ur. 25 kwietnia 1599, zm. 3 września 1658) – polityk angielski, główna postać angielskiej wojny domowej. Lord protektor Anglii, Szkocji i Irlandii 1653-1658.

  • Oliver Cromwell (1599-1658) was an English military and political leader best known for his involvement in making England into a republican Commonwealth and for his later role as Lord Protector of England, Scotland, and Ireland. He was one of the commanders of the New Model Army which defeated the royalists in the English Civil War. After the execution of King Charles I in 1649, Cromwell dominated the short-lived Commonwealth of England, conquered Ireland and Scotland, and ruled as Lord Protector from 1653 until his death in 1658 from (presumably) septicaemia.

  • Oliver Cromwell (also known as Old Ironcock or simply Olly the Asshole) (1599-1658) was an English parliamentarian and, for a period, the King Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England, Scotland and Ireland. He is best known for his work in battlefield strategy, for being hated by every Irishman stretching across the world (Irish people come from all over the world just to piss on the fucking bastard's grave), royal head-removal, and for his fierce and fruity (some would say nauseating) flatulance. Cromwell also had warts on his face and bunions on his toes...or was it the other way round?
  • The character of Oliver Cromwell, the Lord Protector of Holy Republic of Albion, was inspired by, well, Oliver Cromwell (1599 – 1658), the Lord Protector of Commonwealth Republic. The civil war he leads is against James I of Albion, counterpart of James I of England (father of Charles I against whom real Cromwell leads a rebellion).Zero no Tsukaima>>Characters
  • Oliver Cromwell was a genocidal mass murderer from England who came over to Ireland and oppressed Stephen's ancestors, particularly because of their belief in the The One True Religion and forced his people west of the River Shannon to farm rocks. If Stephen could go back in time he would bare knuckle fight Cromwell and kick his ASS! ~ Stephen Colbert St. Patrick's Day, 2007 This article is a stub. You can get a Tip of the Hat* from Stephen by adding only truthiness to it.*Tip of the Hat not guaranteed.
  • Oliver Cromwell (1599-1658) was a member of Parliament who became a Parliamentary General, who became Lord Protector of a nominal republic called the Commonwealth of England, Scotland and Ireland. He and his son remain the only 'commoners' to have been head of state in England and Scotland. In an odd coincidence, Cromwell (and later William III, see below) lived in the house that would become Number 10 Downing Street, much later to become the official residence of the British Prime Minister - a post drawn from the Parliament which only gained such power because of Cromwell's actions.
  • Oliver Cromwell (25 April 1599 - 3 September 1658) was an English military and political leader (from the so-called Roundheads faction) best known for his involvement in making England into a republican Commonwealth and for his later role as Lord Protector of England, Scotland, and Ireland. He was one of the commanders of the New Model Army which defeated the royalists in the English Civil War. After the execution of King Charles I in 1649, Cromwell dominated the short-lived Commonwealth of England, conquered Ireland and Scotland, and ruled as Lord Protector from 1653. During his Protectorate, Cromwell's forces suppressed uprisings in Ireland and Scotland with a harshness that some historians consider genocidal. He remained in office until his death in 1658, apparently from septicaemia.
  • In 1651, Oliver Cromwell led his army into the Battle of Worcester, hoping to defeat the army of Charles II. Cromwell's army heavily outnumbered Charles II and his men. Cromwell's army managed to force their opponents into retreating, after which they lost track of Charles.
