The tale of the Third Age of Man begins with the close of the Second, and it is not the tale that might have been expected. The time was one of turmoil; Creation languished in it's most diminished state, waning and on the edge of being snuffed out entirely. The influence of the Yozis and even the Neverborn cut deep, horrific scars into Creation, while Creation's rightful rulers and protectors were imprisoned, then released; to dismay, as half of them became something far worse.
