| - A novelist's apparent suicide changes to a murder investigation. The suspects include a cult and her husband. Cutter's case is jeopardized by the defense attorney's indirect juror tampering tactics of scaring the jurors.
- An entity of living shadow, the Bogeyman is terror incarnate.
- Bogeyman, known publicly as Zachary O'Neil, is an Omega-class mutant with the ability to understand how mechanical, electrical, and biological functions work. He also possessed the ability to absorb these powers, a power that ended up killing the victim. These two powers combined triggered a hunger for knowledge and power in Zachary, at which point he opted to take on his mutant name in order to instill fear into the hearts of his prey.
- The Bogeyman is a fictional character originating from several cultures on Earth. Quark once compared the Bogeyman to the Klingon Keeper of the Dishonored Dead, the Cardassian Nameless Traitor and on Ferenginar, the Smiling Partner. (DS9 novel: Legends of the Ferengi)
- The Bogeyman scares children. It’s not clear what he looks like but he is scary. He will get you if you suck your thumb or do anything naughty. He may be tall, nasty and hairy and a bit like an ape. He hides under beds and in wardrobes and gets little children when they are asleep. Sometimes he scratches on windows in a scary way. There may be horrible pirates called bogeymen. There can even be a Bogeywoman.
- Young bogeymen have not developed any teeth, so instead of leaving teeth marks, they leave hickeys. There are three stages that a young bogeyman takes to make out with a male:
* Hickeys
* More hickeys and gifts (such as flowers)
* Louisiana Steamboat (ear to tongue kiss) Bogeymen appear in "So Many Hickeys!"
- The bogeyman is a creature that preys on young children. Bogeymen are vulnerable to light, so a simple Wand-Lighting Charm is enough to make them "squint painfully". It's possible these creatures are imaginary or related to Boggarts in some way. It may also be possible that the Bogeyman doesn't exist, and the student was imagining it, or that it is simply another name for a Boggart.
- Theodore Bo Geyman, otherwise known by his stage-name, "The Bogeyman" (also spelled Boogeyman, Boogieman, or just simply Bogeyman) is an Academy Award-nominated monster most noted for his career as a controversial yet versatile American film and stage actor. He enjoyed relatively decent success for his nominal roles in horror movies later on in his career. Today, he is retired from acting and currently resides under your bed or in your closet. He is also a professional wrestler on his spare time.
- I imagine you guys have all heard stories about the bogeyman, right? You know - the ghost-like creature that is said to hide under the bed or in the closet? The monster that kids fear yet is dismissed as a legend when we grow older? Yeah, well I'm afraid this story involves that figure - which means you may laugh at it, but please hear me out. Anyway, here is the story as my uncle used to tell me: "Mom! Dad! The boogeyman is in my room!" "Go to bed Kevin," his mom replied. "But Mom! The bogeyman is there!" Kevin protested. "Go to bed," his father replied. Do you believe in monsters?
- The Bogeyman is an antagonist who appears in Silent Hill: Downpour. He served as Murphy Pendleton's personal tormentor, akin to that of Pyramid Head or the Butcher, though not as exclusively as the latter two. Murphy encounters him several times throughout his trek through Silent Hill, menacing him on numerous occasions. Beyond Murphy, the Bogeyman also haunted Anne Marie Cunningham, in which she was directly confronted by the monster during the climax of the story. He wields his Hammer and follows Murphy and Anne relentlessly.
- This spindly freak is a being of pure evil. He has lived solely to prey on the fears of lost children, but during these times of global darkness he aggressively strikes out at all who dare challenge him. He resides in an abandoned amusement park from the ’70s that was forced to close after a series of unexplained deaths. Now the Bogeyman lurks through the park’s attractions and rides, biding his time until someone wander into his hunting ground.
- The Bogeyman (also spelled boogyman, bogyman, boogieman, boogey monster, or boogeyman) is a folkloric or legendary ghost-like monster. The bogeyman has no specific appearance, and conceptions of the monster can vary drastically even from household to household within the same community; in many cases he simply has no set appearance in the mind of a child, but is just an amorphous embodiment of terror. Bogeyman can be used metaphorically to denote a person or thing of which someone has an irrational fear. Parents often say that if their child is naughty, the bogeyman will get them, in an effort to make them behave. The bogeyman legend may originate from Scotland, where such creatures are sometimes called bogles, boggarts, or bogies.
