Kentor Stele, nicknamed "Mynock", was a TIE fighter pilot in the Imperial Navy of the Fel Empire, and later of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire. He was the great-grandson of Maarek Stele, also an Imperial pilot who became one of the best in the Galactic Empire. Stele joined the Navy during the Sith-Imperial War, and scored his first several kills against Galactic Alliance pilots. After Darth Krayt's coup d'état against Emperor Roan Fel, Stele remained loyal to the empire of the One Sith. After becoming an ace during the Second Imperial Civil War, Stele was considered to be one of the best One Sith pilots. He took part in many battles during the war and became a colonel, but towards the end of the conflict, Stele was reassigned to be the pilot of Darth Maladi's personal shuttle.

When the Empire-in-exile, Galactic Alliance Remnant, and the New Jedi Order attacked Coruscant, Colonel Stele took part in the battle.
