| - Ramming (体当たり Taiatari) is a video game-only Aera Spell.
- When one ship (in battle nav) attempts to move into the square that another ship is occupying, the other ship is rammed and both ships suffer damage. If the ramming ship is larger than the ship being rammed, the smaller ship is "pushed" out of the square and suffers more damage than the larger ship. Image:Stub.pngArr! This article be a stub. - Ramming is a last ditch effort attack. Generally the person who rams another thing is destroyed but not always. The following things can be rammed. Structures,Npcs,Star bases and ships. There are many factors that affect ramming. They are the players skill in Maneuver, the ship size, the equipment on board and the ships HP. Also the object that is rammed affects it. The way it affects it is their size, skill and HP.
- In Most Wanted, any vehicle appearing in any heat level will attempt to ram the player in order to reduce their speed or stopping them. A Police SUV will sometimes approach a suspect head-on and attempt to disable him via collision. After ramming, the SUV will be immobilized, although it can also shut off its lights and drive away. If it misses, the SUV will keep its lights on and will chase the suspect for a short period of time, and then will leave the pursuit. SUVs usually come in small squadrons of two.

This technique is used in Carbon as well, but not as often. It must be noted that the Police SUVs sometimes don't appear on the mini map during gameplay, which could rule it as a surprise if the player is in the SUVs location.
