The RGR470 features a resoncast body bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a reverse headstock and a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups, a locking nut and an Edge double locking tremolo bridge. The RGR480F is a similar model with a gravure flamed maple top. Other resoncast bodied RGs include the RG380DX and RG390GX. The RGR470 was replaced for 1998 with the essentially similar RGR480.
