Synopsis
  • Back home, Peter learns that MJ's manager stole their money, leaving them in debt. May moves in with Anna Watson. Time traveler Cassandra Locke arrives at Tri Corp. There. Peter talks to Terry who refers him to Twaki. Knowing she wouldn't have appeared unless something historical was happening. Cassandra ends up in lab 213-RM where she recognizes Twaki's energy experiment as the springboard for every technological advance in her future world. However, the Ghost sabotages the experiment, starting a potential Manhattan-destroying chain reaction. Spidey can't touch the Ghost or stop the experiment. Cassandra, recalling her grade school physics, tells Twaki to invert the phase differential, which shuts the experiment down. She uses her time-warp belt to make the Ghost tangible allowing Spidey to defeat him. Revealing she is from the future. Cassandra tells Spidey he will live a long life but she hasn't heard of Mary Jane. She resumes her time travels. Soon after, Twaki tells Peter he's fired, while at the Bugle, JJJ no longer wants Spider-Man photos. Peter fears that Jonah is blackballing him because he looked under his mask .
