| - She was born to the Crasse family when her father was finishing his education so he could finally fulfill his dream of becoming a professor of the sciences. Her mother, though, was an artist, well known in their little town for her beautiful pottery. As a result of her husband's full time education, Lillianne's mother was forced to take on another job to make ends meet. Yet, while in the last trimester of the pregnancy, she was forced to quit her job and was stricken to bed rest. Were it not for the generous handouts of their neighbors, they might not have been able to make ends meet. A Healthy baby girl was born to the couple two weeks early. The mother praised the Yahweh for her birth and cherished her firstborn, naming her after her own mother. Mother and child grew close, yet once she began to talk and walk, she soon became more attached to her father. Her father would tell her stories that would keep Lillianne laughing for hours. It was from her father that she grew to enjoy nature around her and the link between all living things. Though their beginning was rough, things were coming together. Lillianne's father had landed a job in one of the most prestigious academies as a professor of the sciences, freeing his wife to return to what she loved, her pottery. Lillianne would often play outside their home as her mother worked, though still watching from a window. Still, the young girl's sense of adventure would cause her to wander away from the house when her mother turned her back for a moment. Such incidents would scare her mother as she would immediately set out to find her, but Lillianne would always say that she was just communicating with "Him." It was then that the Crasse family knew there was something special about their daughter. Her mother would pray every night for her daughter to be watched over and protected. When Lillianne was old enough to begin her schooling, she was enrolled in the best school her family could afford. Her progress was steady, however, her parents believed she was not applying herself to the best of her ability. In fact, letters began to be sent home from the professors about how the young girl would often zone out and leave some of her schoolwork undone. Long talks would usually emerge from such letters with Lilly promising to do better. It was after her sixteenth birthday that her parents began to really wonder about her strange behavior. Her father called upon some friends of his and spoke to them about their daughter's idiosyncrasies. It was then suggested that she might be one of the gifted people able to become a Bendu Knight. Pleased and yet scared with this turn of events, he quickly went to his wife to discuss what they should do. If the child followed the path of the Bendu, she would have many challenges before her. Yet, her mother believed it to be the right path for their daughter. Both parents went before Lillianne and talked to her about the Bendu, what little they knew. Curious to know more, she agreed to come with them the next day to the Temple to consult the Bendu priests. It was then discovered that the girl was indeed able to connect with the Force of Others. Pulling her aside, the Bendu priest spoke with her, telling her about her ability and a little about the Temple. Believing it to be the right path, she agreed to undergo the vigorous training of the Bendu.
