The Prif is a small creature that can be found in the dense forests and fields of Arminia. This creature will grow no larger than two feet, both in height and length. Completely covered in short fur, it is often mistaken for a small dog from a distance. However if someone were to get closer they would notice several differences, one being the two small nub like horns that are located on top of its head. Then there are the two long tufts of fur that stick out from above its eyes, which almost look like feathers. These small creatures also have opposable toes on their paws, making them capable of gripping things.

During its lifespan of up to 40 years, the fur of the Prif can go through several color changes, from tan to dark brown, to gray, to white. While they are normally quadruped they can walk around on their hind legs for short periods of time, usually to try and reach up to higher areas.
