abstract	J-16b-79-2/3 was bred as a J-line technical labor slave by Manpower Incorporated of Mesa. Like many other slaves, he managed to escape, giving himself the name W.E.B. Du Havel, in honor of both W.E.B. Du Bois and Václav Havel. He earned several doctoral degrees as well a reputation as a political scientist and anti-slavery advocate, and wrote books on politics and diplomacy, including The Political Value of Sacrifice. In time, Du Havel became an important figure in the ranks of the Anti-Slavery League and made contacts with Jeremy X, leader of the Audubon Ballroom. He also became close friends with Catherine Montaigne. In 1919 PD, he accompanied Anton Zilwicki, Berry Zilwicki and Princess Ruth to Erewhon for the funeral of Hieronymus Stein, the murdered leader of the Renaissance Association. Once in the area, he witnessed the political turmoil that led to the liberation of the slaves of Congo and the founding of the Kingdom of Torch, whose first Prime Minister he became, on the condition that Jeremy X served as his Minister of War.
