Mark LaVarre (born February 21, 1965 in Evanston, Illinois) is a retired professional ice hockey right winger who played 65 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Chicago Blackhawks. He played Tier II Junior "A" with the Stratford Cullitons in 1982-83 and then was picked 119th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. LaVarre went on to play major junior with the North Bay Centennials and the Windsor Spitfires until 1985. In the NHL LaVarre played in 78 games (all with Chicago) and scored 9 goals and 16 assists.

He played for the Chicago Blackhawks. He played Tier II Junior "A" with the Stratford Cullitons in 1982-83 and then was picked 119th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. LaVarre went on to play major junior with the North Bay Centennials and the Windsor Spitfires until 1985. In that year he turned pro with the Nova Scotia Oilers and played two games for Chicago. In 1986-87 he scored 23 points in 58 games for the Hawks. The next season his NHL workload went down. He was traded to the Hartford Whalers in 1988 and scored 20 goals for the Binghamton Whalers. He retired in 1990 after playing 6 games for Zurcher SC in Switzerland. In the NHL LaVarre played in 78 games (all with Chicago) and scored 9 goals and 16 assists.
