  • Carl Proctor appeared on Coronation Street in March 2000 as Detective Constable Weston who led the initial investigation when a dead body was found in the grounds of the Medical Centre building site on Rosamund Street. Having trained as an actor at RADA, he worked successfully for a number of years with credits including roles in Juliet Bravo, Capital City, Ellington, Heartbeat and Genie in the House. He has produced and directed film and theatre and is now one of London's busiest casting directors, working mainly in film and TV. His many film credits include Shadow of the Vampire, The Wedding Date, Blood Creek and Trevor Nunn's Twelfth Night. Recent TV includes The Bible series.
