The Gun del Hell is a dark powered gun wielded by Boktai's anti-hero, Sabata . The gun fires bolts of darkness, and works in a similar fashion to Django's gun, Gun del Sol. It can only be recharged while standing in shadows or at night, whereas the Gun del Sol can only be recharged in natural sunlight. While playing as Sabata in Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django, the Gun del Hell is recharged by charging inside a dungeon. If Sabata is outside or under a skylight, the player can recharge the Gun del Hell simply by covering the solar sensor, so that no sunlight is shining. Covering the sensor is essential for getting into Spiral Tower. In Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand, it was possible to earn Dark Gun parts for the Gun del Sol; the Dark lens, Phantom frame, Chaos battery and Nightmare grenade. Al
