| - The Senate of Diadochia (Greek: Γερουσία των Διαδόχων, Iberian: Senatus Diadochi), formally styled the Right Honourable the Árchontes Spiritual and Temporal of Senate the Empire of Diadochia in Parliament assembled and referred to ceremonially as the House of Árchontes, is the upper house of the Parliament of Diadochia. Like the House of Koiná, it meets in the Palace of Magnaura. Unlike its counterpart the elected House of Koiná, all members of the Senate (excluding the 142 appointed members) inherit their seat. The membership of the Senate is drawn from the Diadochian Peerage and the State Church. While the House of Koiná has a defined 690-seat membership, the number of members in the Senate is not fixed. However there are currently 82 sitting Árchontes. The Senate has the ability to scrutinize, review, ad amend bills that have ben approved by the House of Koiná. While it is unable to block bills from being passed into law, it can delay bills and force amendments to said bill. In this capacity the Senate acts as a check on the House of Koiná that is completely independent from the electoral process.
