abstract	Jacob Cross is a former General in the J Andres military. He enlisted in the military shortly after the nuclear attack on Providence in 2033. Like many his age, Jacob was devastated by the loss of his home city and sought revenge on the attackers. As the months turned into years, Jacob realized that J Andres would never retaliate and he became disheartened. The nation eventually fell to pieces and he lost faith in the leadership of the time for not reacting with a swift response. Cross lived around Providence for numerous years until it was eventually habitable again. As other nations came and went, he would train with their armies and study tactics. During the Fifth Maritime Republic, Cross served as a General in the J Andres military from 2053 to 2057, when he was discharged for treason for his actions in the Richard's Rebellion. Seeking redemption, Cross caught wind of the upcoming attack on the inaguration that would lead to the Vinsalian Conflict. Cross was rewarded and permitted to reenter the military. He lead the J Andres forces during the Battle of Boston and at the conclusion of the war he was honorably discharged, removing the blemish of the Richard's Rebellion from his record.
