Bob Barker is the founding father of the AAAA (Animal Abuse Activists of America) and has been ruthlessly torturing animals by severing their reproductive organs, both internal and external, since approximately 1975. He and Ed McMahon started the AAAA together and began their rituals by luring stray cats and alley kittens into their mansion with raw bird meat and exorbitant amounts of catnip, the likes of which have yet to be matched in quantity in the time since. Pundits believe Barker and McMahon began the organization following their unwilling surgery to have their conjoined heads separated several years prior. The anger built up from them no longer sharing the same brain resulted in much pain for these animals.

  • Bob Baker and Dave Martin co-wrote and co-submitted a whole lot of scripts for Doctor Who, and eventually got some picked up. In only 8 stories, they managed to invent K-9, Omega, the Black Guardian, plus a bunch of aliens that nobody but BBV would ever consider licensing separately. After Martin died, Baker and Paul Tams co-wrote and co-produced a spin-off series to milk the K9 copyright. And, after that series died, they decided to do a K9 vs. Omega movie. I'm sure the Black Guardian is coming next, and then the Axons.

I'm sure the Black Guardian is coming next, and then the Axons. In between, he co-wrote a bunch of other sci-fi stuff with Dave Martin, co-wrote all of Wallace and Gromit (except the first one) with Nick Park, co-wrote the animated bits of Vision On with Laurie Booth, co-wrote... Basically, if it's British, he probably wrote it, but always with someone else. Probably because the one time he tried to write something solo, it was Nightmare of Eden.
  • Bob Baker was a Doctor Who writer most notable for the creation of K9, a character he partially owned the rights to. He made use of these rights in authorising the creation of the K9 TV series. He often wrote with Dave Martin. Beyond the world of Doctor Who, Baker's greatest success is as a writer for Aardman Animation's Wallace and Gromit series. He co-wrote the short films The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave and A Matter of Loaf and Death with animator Nick Park, and was one of four credited writers on the feature film Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit; he received a BAFTA for The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and another for A Matter of Loaf and Death. A Close Shave features a robotic dog as its antagonist. Bob Baker wrote The Essential Book of K9 along with Paul M Tams.

He filmed his scene on Monday 27 June 1966 at Desilu Stage 9. Baker was the owner of Bob Baker Marionettes, a marionette theater company. Although this was where his primary work was focused, he had done puppeteer work for other Hollywood projects, including a 1959 episode of Hawaiian Eye and the 1961 film Susan Slade (with John A. Alonzo). He was responsible for the monster model used in the classic science fiction/horror movie Monster from the Ocean Floor, produced by Roger Corman, and also performed marionettes for the 1960 Elvis Presley film G.I. Blues.
