It was his son, Crown Prince Rudolph, who married Josephine, the daughter of Philippe III of Alduria and I of Luthor. This marriage successfully ended the competing claims between the Hulstrian line and the House of Orange over the Luthori Throne and united the third Great Imperial Crowns of Terra. Godric I tragically died in a car crash on February 15, 2606, when his limo driver lost control on an icy road outside of Kien, crashing into a tree killing both of them.
