Ylana Ghalee (King Ylana I, Crown Prince of Gamane) (1317-1352) was an early Kirlawan noble and one of the first pioneers of Kirlawan nationalism. Ylana was born in 1317, the third son of Crown Prince of Gamane King Hylan II. Ylana lived a rather pampered lifestyle but was sent into exile following the Gamane Coup of 1335. While travelling the lands of modern-day Uwakah and Merkan, Ylana first came up with the idea of a Kirlawan unified nation under a single 'Kirlawan Oligarchy'. He wrote the book Kirlawa Above All - A Book of Ideas during his exile in 1344. He returned to his homeland in 1350 following a counter-coup, becoming King Ylana I, and made many strides to unite nearby warlords into Gamane with the idea of working towards a unified nation before he was assassinated by a local kni
