The spread of terror it also brings can range from being annoying to saving the PC's life, depending on whether the scared monster needs to be killed or is potentially very dangerous. Unlike the unholy aura corruption, it at least can be easily removed at will before going shopping. Of course, if the PC has an unholy aura anyway then they will face no problems by equipping the helmet.
