In the 2010-11 season, the club was threatened after mismanagement led to large debt that forced the club into bankruptcy. After this season, the club called HC Breclav ceased to exist and was succeeded HC Passvilan Breclav, which due to a disagreement between city management and the new owners, never saw the ice.
