| - Native is a villain who was helping Mr. Freeze with his invasion.
- A close relative of the native is the beast classification. Although these monsters have similar appearances and fighting styles, beasts tend to be larger, more primeval foes and highly vicious compared to natives. Beasts should not be mistaken for the human-modified race, Beast, or altered beasts.
- The Native is a lower-class biological Enemy in the Platformer games that is a user of Power. Its description says "small enemy with a spear." The Native is the 20th Enemy to be shown in the Enemies and Hazards Game Creator Category. The Native is capable of tossing spears at a relatively long distance away from its own location. In groups, it can prove hazardous to the player, especially when it is out of the player's reach. However, the spear could be avoided by a shield.
- Native is the original, unmodded version of Mount & Blade released with the game. The 5 factions it includes are the Kingdom of Swadia, the Kingdom of Vaegirs, the Khergit Khanate, the Kingdom of Rhodoks, and the Kingdom of Nords. It is set in the fictional (but not fantastical) continent of Calradia, in the last 1200s.
- Natives are uneducated men and women who dress, act, and even speak as exotically as possible to provide tourists with the "authentic" island experience in ethnic enclaves, cocktail bars, and voodoo manors. The higher a native's skill is, the better the service quality where they work is.

- Natives are the original nations in a region. Determining who is Native when there is an invasion becomes quite problematic. Figuring out who came first and who came second is one of the better ongoing battles in NationStates gameplay. A variety of different methods are used in deciding nativity. One approach is via moderator intervention. Another depends on the use of stored XML feeds. There are puppet observers and spies, simple observation, and offsite forum discussions. Doubtless there are other, lesser publicized methods for tracking Natives as well.
- A Native in Arthur Ransome's Swallows and Amazons series is a person who is not a member of a crew of sailors, explorers or pirates. Natives may be adults, relatives or unknown members of the public. All are 'out' of the 'in-group' but natives can be well-regarded (the best of all natives) or enemies (unfriendly natives). In wintertime, the natives tend to wear fur coats and other heavy clothing, and are therefore called "Eskimos". Natives are to be blame for many unneccesary objects and activities such as highways, garbage and noise, but are also the source of civilization (ice cream), which Roger finds important.
- Most Funkeys believe the Nibble to be the original inhabitants of Funkiki Island, and while technically they were the first Funkeys to inhabit the island, the Funkiki natives had been living there, and throughout Terrapinia, long before the first Tiki crawled out of the primordial soup! The natives collectively decided that their society would leave Terrapinia, and endeavor to discover the experiences that could be found among the stars! However, before they were to leave, they wanted to return Terrapinia to its natural state.
