| - Jax Pavan 15,681,003 was one of the 582,797,754 Human males named Jax Pavan on Coruscant. He signed on as a TIE fighter pilot with the Imperial Navy. A survivor of the Battle of Yavin, Lieutenant Pavan was transferred to a TIE interceptor squadron aboard Darth Vader's flagship Executor. At one point, parts from his starfighter were "appropriated" by Dan the Stormtrooper, who made a moonshine still out of them. Over time, Jax continued to be plagued by Dan's practical jokes; at one point, the trooper taped a "Force choke Me" sign on his back, programmed an astromech droid to tail him for days on end, and even had a training remote give him a "zap" every so often. One particularly embarrassing incident revolved around the "accidental" discharge of laughing gas into the pilot's cockpit.

Lieutenant Pavan grew so tired of these pranks, that he defected to the Rebel Alliance, stealing a stormtrooper transport packed with arms, munitions, supplies and other useful odds and ends, as a final "kriff you!" to the Empire. As a token of thanks and appreciation, the Rebels allowed Pavan to lead a squadron of X-wings, which he did with distinction at the Battle of Endor. Pavan himself helped to take down the flagship he had once served aboard by escorting the attacking unit of A-wings that put the behemoth out of its misery. He later rose to the rank of Colonel within the New Republic Defense Force, eventually learning that, unfortunately, Trooper Dan had not been aboard the Executor while at Endor.
