Rhul 'Ithom, formerly Rhul 'Ithomee, was a high-ranking Sangheili who fought during the Human-Covenant War, the Great Schism, and following conflicts. Nephew of infamous Fleet Master Lok 'Ithomee, Rhul took control of the Second Overseeing Fleet of Luminous Glory following his uncle's death during the Battle of New Sicily in 2541. He continued his crusade against the humans until 2552, when the Great Schism saw the newly-formed Swords of Sanghelios joining forces with humanity to destroy the Covenant Empire. Following the destruction of the Covenant, in 2554 'Ithom and his fleet joined Jul 'Mdama's resurgent Covenant faction, still bitter about the humans murdering his uncle and mentor years before.

Nephew of infamous Fleet Master Lok 'Ithomee, Rhul took control of the Second Overseeing Fleet of Luminous Glory following his uncle's death during the Battle of New Sicily in 2541. He continued his crusade against the humans until 2552, when the Great Schism saw the newly-formed Swords of Sanghelios joining forces with humanity to destroy the Covenant Empire. Following the destruction of the Covenant, in 2554 'Ithom and his fleet joined Jul 'Mdama's resurgent Covenant faction, still bitter about the humans murdering his uncle and mentor years before. After 'Mdama's Covenant fell apart in late 2558, 'Ithom for a short while led his own Covenant faction, until he was forced into hiding by the rise of the Created. Shortly thereafter, he was given a proposition by the Spartans of Operational Detachment-Sigma, a unit led by the very humans responsible for his uncle's death: aid them in their fight against the Created, or be destroyed. He complied with the humans for a short time, until he attempted to glass the humans on the colony of New Babylonia. However, Ithom's flagship was destroyed at the last moment by a MAC round from the UNSC Vegas, killing him.
