This New Jersey resident has been said to be mistaken, or falsely accused, of being a jaguar or cougar. It has also the ability to adapt to feral cat's habits and social abilities. The man-cat was said to have a hairless, ape-like face, and the lower half of a cat. The hind-quarters were also said to have those of a cat. The tail was also said to be like that of a chinchilla; long and poofy.
