| - Gardevoir is a user on Dashnet, infamous for starting The Gardevoir Incident back in August 2016. He posted an insensitive comment in BurntCookie's depression-venting thread saying that he was tired of all the threads and that he felt like BC was crying for attention. This brought a lot of backlash towards Gardevoir, and the argument persisted for pages and pages. Gardevoir was told to leave the thread numerous times but stubbornly refused to. Synopsis of The Gardevoir Incident: Page 3: Gardevoir posted an offensive comment in BC's depression thread, and then MasterSparky called him a "fucking idiot". Other users told him that his post was only making things worse, but Gardevoir disagreed and insisted on his own opinion. Page 4: The argument persisted as Gardevoir kept trying to prove himself right that the forum "wasn't a right place to talk about depression". Page 5: Jarr2003 told Gardevoir that he called him a jerk because he was being completely ignorant of BurntCookie's circumstances, and Gardevoir replied with some nonsense. Kirdneh made long posts directed at Gardevoir, kindly asking him to leave the thread and allow BC to get support from the community. Gardevoir responded saying that he wasn't trying to sabotage the thread at all. Erdbeere and other users then told Gardevoir that it was because he was being insensitive, but Gardevoir remains ignorant and refuses to stop arguing. Page 6: MasterSparky gave the middle finger to Gardevoir, then Gardevoir sarcastically responded, "Thanks for the insult". 1234abcdcba4321 told him that he should read about depression and posts from the users. Gardevoir replied saying that he knew about depression and he read all of their posts, although any of his previous comments indicated the complete opposite. Page 7: Chisako asked everyone to shut up and focus on what the original topic was: BurntCookie's depression. Gardevoir ignored Chisako and said that it wasn't okay for him to "not get the last word in everything". Leon then got into another argument with Gardevoir about whether he lost arguments with Mikkmar in Kong OT. Zyzzyzus, erdbeere and Uiomancant started marking these posts as off-topic. Leon eventually posted a link to a thread in which Gardevoir lost to Mikkmar in an argument. MasterSparky said that Gardevoir seemed like an even bigger idiot than he initially thought, based on his posts in that thread. The argument continued to go on for some time. Page 8: Gardevoir claimed that nothing was his fault and that everyone else caused the argument by attacking him for his opinion. Jarr2003 asked him to not start the argument again, but then Gardevoir said that he could "do what he wants". Leon posted an image explaining to Gardevoir that this wasn't true. Gardevoir, missing the point once more, sarcastically replied with random nonsense. Shylight then brought the argument to the end.
