During the Second Battle of Theed of 32 BBY, Takrab was ordered to fly to the Droid Control Ship in his shuttle, along with his droid TC-11, for an important mission. Two security B1 battle droids were assigned to protect the shuttle. Nute Gunray then assigned an additional squad, commanded by RK-7, to protect the shuttle, because Takrab's mission was very important. Besides, should Takrab be killed in the battle, Gunray intended to use the shuttle as an escape way.
