Nell Radcliffe was the wife of Atlantis founder Edward Radcliffe. In 1452, despite her misgivings, Nell agreed to leave Hastings, England for the new continent. As the years passed, Nell grew content with her life in New Hastings. She acted as a sort of balance to Edward. When the Earl of Warwick arrived in in New Hastings in 1470, Nell tried to keep Edward from actively opposing the Earl's harsh rule, although she agreed with Edward's hatred of the man. Nonetheless, she could not save her husband when Warwick's soldiers arrived to collect a newly imposed tax, and were ambushed by their son Richard.
