The film begins as two stupid Jedi with no clothes but pants, assigned as pants sellers to resolve a trade dispute, arrive in orbit of the threatened planet Pantsboo. When the situation turns violent, the Jedi, along with Pantsmé Amidala, the planet's queen, flee Pantsboo in an attempt to reach the pants capital world of the Pantspublic, Coruslacks. There they hope to find a pantsful end to the dispute. Along the way, the flying pants must stop for stitches on the planet Pantstooine.
