Desert Wings are the first variant of Bat Demon to be encountered in Diablo II. They are found in the tombs of Act II, their behaviour mimics the animal their name speaks of. They can be a nuisance to deal with because they can cling to the ceiling, out of sight, and although they can be attacked while "nesting" a melee character may have to walk a fair distance to attack such a creature. Their shock attack is not too damaging but these maneuverable creatures can be quite destructive. Desert Wings are orange-black in colour.
