Wendell Anderson (Born February 1, 1933, in St. Paul, Minnesota) is a retired American hockey player. He won a Silver medal at the 1956 Olympics. He played college hockey for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. He spent time in the army and was elected governor of Minnesota in 1970.
