It first aired on NBC on May 18, 1995. Benton offers Carter an internship at County General while Greene is sued for malpractice over Jodi O'Brien's death. Hathaway prepares for her wedding with Tag, but realizes that it probably isn't going to happen..
- This was to have been a CGI intensive episode utilizing the Cleopatra 2525 set, and would have seen Xena catapulted into the future. At one point the storyline concerned Xena and Gabrielle being sent into 1990's Los Angeles or New York. They are after Alti who is in the future looking for an artifact. While in the future, Alti changes the past. Alti hooks up with a crimelord and takes over his operation. Artemis sends Xena and Gabrielle to the future to battle her. The script was ultimately dumped as being too expensive and taking much too long to produce.
- Everything Old is New Again is the first episode of the second season, and the twentieth of The Blood Gulch Chronicles. It is set three months after the events of Last One Out, Hit the Lights.
- Anne Murray and the Muppets sing "Everything Old Is New Again" while riding on skateboards in episode 415 of The Muppet Show. The song is also performed by the orchestra, featuring Nigel conducting Floyd, Zoot, Janice, Animal, Rowlf, and the Trumpet Girl on trombone for the first time.
- After having a ball making meatballs for Kelis, things went 'Mad' when the Masters had to recreate '60s inspired dishes for guest stars Christina Hendricks and her husband Geoffrey Arend.
