| - Grego Weed, typically refered to as "Grego," "Weed", "The Sticky-Icky" or "The Green Goodness" is an illegal drug in most systems. It is composed of the dried buds of the female grego plant. The plant is a small, shrub-like bush that grows in a wide variety of soils and climates, so long as the athmosphere is rich in oxygen and carbon dioxide. It provides the user with a sense of euphoria, moderate pain relief, and a general improvement in what some users refer to as "parallel logic," the ability to compare things not of like types to see larger patterns.

A specific growing cycle and cultivation technique is required to create quality grego weed buds. A wild grego plant has few or no psychopharmalogical properties. The buds are smoked, baked into oils, or soaked in alcohol to extract the active ingredient, THG, or tetrahydratagreeganoid. It provides the user with a sense of euphoria, moderate pain relief, and a general improvement in what some users refer to as "parallel logic," the ability to compare things not of like types to see larger patterns. On a few planets, Grego is legal, and on some less-lawful worlds it is generally not a concern with over-stressed authorities. Some users experience paranoia and nervous jitters with larger doses, but regular use diminishes this. Grego is unique in that the tiny changes in the active ingredients that vary from plant to plant will prevent the long-time user from developing a resistance to the drug, as long as different plants are smoked. Since a single plant is generally only a meter tall, this is usually the case. Grego is completely non-addictive. Those who smoke it over long periods of time suffer from an increased chance of cancer, though not so much so as similar use of cigarras. Indiviuals who imbibe the drug often find that the stress relief and endorphin boost is healthy.
